Appetizing, fragrant banana and oat chia pancakes, topped with maple syrup, is a sweet breakfast. When prepared in the open air, it tastes even better! Add some hot coffee and you can start your day. The location near the Hafrsfjord bridge turned out to be perfect for outdoor cooking.
Ingredients:
(four pancakes)
- 1 banana
- 4 tbsp of oats
- 1 tsp of chia seeds
- 1 tsp of lemon juice
- pinch of ginger
- pinch of cinnamon
- pinch of cardamom
- olive oil
- maple syrup
Instructions:
- Mash a banana with a fork.
- Add chia seeds, lemon juice and spices. Stir to combine the ingredients.
- Set aside for 5 -10 minutes.
- Add some olive oil to the pan.
- Cook pancakes for 3 minutes on each side until brown.
- Pour the maple syrup over the pancakes.
