A few ingredients and a moment of time are enough to prepare one of the simplest dishes. Frozen peas are my favourite side dish in winter. I appreciate it for its sweetness and juicy green colour that whets the appetite.
Ingredients:
- 2 portions of spaghetti
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 4-5 cloves of garlic
- 10 cherry tomatoes
- a handful of frozen peas
- 2 tbsp of nutritional yeast
- a handful of rocket
- salt, pepper, oregano
Instructions:
- Cook spaghetti. Check the pasta packaging for the cook times.
- Pour olive oil into a skillet and fry garlic (be careful, not to burn).
- Add tomatoes cut in half and frozen peas. Cook 5-10 minutes.
- Add seasoning.
- Add cooked and drained pasta. Stir.
- Add rocket. Sprinkle with nutritional yeast on top.
