I often use this recipe, which has endless possibilities. It all depends on the vegetables and toppings that I will use to fill the rolls. However, whatever I wrap in these thin, inconspicuous rice papers always Tastes great. Sometimes I add pieces of nori inside, then spring rolls dipped in soy sauce are a bit like sushi. The colourful dish looks nice on the table and I always look forward to the first bite.
Ingredients:
- 1 avocado
- 1/2 cucumber
- 10 olives
- 1 carrot
- 1/2 pepper
- parsley
- a few leaves of lettuce
- soy sauce
- rice paper
Instructions:
- Cut carrot, pepper, cucumber into thin sticks.
- Slice the avocado.
- Soak rice paper in hot water until completely soft and flexible.
- Lay hydrated rice wraps on a hard surface.
- Lay the julienned vegetables down in the middle of the wrap.
- Roll the wrap.
- Dip into soy sauce.
- You may use different sauces and vegetables which you like.
