Dates stuffed with peanut butter, marzipan, and dipped in chocolate are a sure thing at the party. Everyone will be tempted by a miniature full of sweets. I also use chocolate glaze to prepare plums in chocolate. So in one go I have two delicious desserts that I can make in advance and store in the fridge.
Ingredients:
- 10 fresh dates
- 1 bag California dried plums
- peanut butter
- marzipan
chocolate glaze:
- 3 tsp coconut oil
- 6 tsp sugar
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 15 tsp water
Instructions:
- Melt the glaze ingredients in a small saucepan. Stir until the sugar dissolves and the glaze is shiny.
- Remove the stones from the dates.
- Stuff them with peanut butter and a formed marzipan eggs.
- Dip the stuffed dates in the glaze.
- Put them on a baking paper and leave aside.
- Put the plums in a saucepan with chocolate glaze and mix thoroughly.
- Put the plums on a baking paper.
- Put the dates and the plums in the fridge.
- After approx. 1 hour, the chocolate will set and you can put dates and plums into jars.
- Keep the dates with marzipan and the plums with chocolate in the refrigerator.
Tips:
You can replace the chocolate glaze with melted chocolate with a little water or plant milk.
